As part of the PRESENTATION project, the Exhibition Center of the St. Petersburg Artists’ Union is holding the first presentation exhibition of artists of the union.

The exhibition will take place from 6 to 10 June 2012 at five exhibition halls on ul. Bolshaya Morskaya, 38.

The goal of the exhibition is to present artists from the St. Petersburg Artists’ Union and their work to potential clients and buyers: galleries, antique salons, auctioneers and art agents; interior designers and architects; art collectors and connoisseurs, and also the wider public of St. Petersburg, Moscow, the near and distant abroad.

Only members of the St. Petersburg Artists’ Union are taking part in the first exhibition. Each artist independently presents themselves and their work, exhibiting works in different styles and techniques, and also sells their work independently. Descendants of artists of the Union (and other owners of collections of works of Union members) may take part in the exhibition.

There will be exhibitions of painting, graphic art, sculpture, decorative and applied art, monumental art and ceramics. The majority of the works have not been exhibited previously.

The highly professional modern art presented in diverse genres and topics, forms and techniques, is united by the unique Leningrad-Petersburg artistic style.
