The Auction House of the Russian Federation has signed an agency contract with Russian Railways
March 23, 2010 The Auction House of the Russian Federation and Russian Railways have signed an agency contract. As part of the contract, the Auction House of the Russian Federation will sell non-core property of Russian Railways.
The first property owned by Russian Railways will which be auctioned by the Auction House of the Russian Federation is a property of uncompleted building on Slobodskaya Ulitsa in Khabarovsky (Industrialny district). It will be given to the winner of the auction along with a land plot on which it is possible to build another two buildings with a total area of over 12,000 sq.m., and an underground parking garage with an area of 2,250 sq.m.
The order to sell was signed in March this year. The auction is scheduled for May-June this year, and will take place at the Auction House of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg. The starting price of the lot is 21.2 million rubles.
Talks are also presently underway on the sale of five properties owned by Russian Railways, which are located on the territory of several regions of the Russian Federation.
