On 6th of May the Auction House of the Russian Federation (AHRF) has held the auction under the instruction of JSC “Oboronstroy”, a part of the Garrison Holding (the former “Oboronservis”).
For sale was offered a land plot (the former industrial area) with an area of 59,720 sq. m. (5.9 ha) in Moscow, on Gzhatskaya Street, domain 9 with 22 buildings and structures of various purposes.
10 bidders took part in the biddings, during which 92 bids for increment were made.
As a result the Auction Winner – the Pioneer Developing Company – has purchased the Lot for the amount of 2,273,000.000 rubles (2.273 billion rubles) with the starting price – 1.363 billion rubles. Term of the deal payment – 20 calendar days since the date of signing of Purchase and Sale Agreement.
This is the first major sale of the Garrison (Oboronservis) property in Moscow within the framework of the Contract, signed between the Holding and the AHRF. “We are proud of the auction results. Public sale provided military engineers with competitive bidding, many participants and, as a result, practically a billion of additional income. For its part, the city has obtained a warranty of development of the former industrial area. According to expert evaluation, the best way of all possible options of use the plot sold is a redevelopment with the purpose of creation of new objects, including residential ones. And taking into consideration a long-term experience of the Pioneer company work in the domestic construction market, it can be said with confidence that the territory sold will be modernly developed,” – Andrey Stepanenko, General Director of the Auction House of the Russian Federation.

The sale of the given assets is carried out within the framework of alienation of non-core assets, approved in Garrison Holding and aimed both at income generation of sales and reduction of costs for maintenance of unutilized property.
