The former ships of the Ministry of Defense are sold with one and a half times exceeding of the starting price
On 5 of June, the regular bidding took place at the electronic platform of the Auction House of the Russian Federation (RAD) – Lot-online, on behalf of the Ministry of Defense of Russia. At the auction were sold former military ships, their condition eliminates the possibility of their further use for an original purpose.
Four contenders took part in the auction.
During the auction 10 bid steps for increase were registered. The auction winner – LLC "MetPromExport" – offered for the lot – 162.8 million rubles (starting price – 108.5 million rubles).
Funds obtained from the sale will be transferred to the budget of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

In November 2013 on the results of the competition conducted, the Ministry of Defense of Russia has concluded with the Auction House of the Russian Federation a state contract to carry out functions of the seller of movables.
Movables offered for sale – former military equipment in a state of scrap metal, without the possibility of use as it is directly intended.
For today RAD announced about 100 auctions.
Sum of assets sold – 275.3 million rubles.
